I’m Afraid We Became One is in many respects a testament of unbound creativity from one soul to the next, the last sonic remnant of Blue Crime’s original line-up. The phase that this album closes has – like some eerie self-fulfilled prophecy – devoured itself, and congruently, set forth a new fruitful chapter for Blue Crime. After extensively touring Europe and South Africa the past two years, including an appearance at Robert Smith’s Meltdown Festival, the band is now in the process of writing new material, summoning new wandering spirits into its vast, sentient machinery. And thus the cycle begins anew…

giro days pummelling 12 minutes monster grinder is a gem a perfect soundtrack to the time honoured tradition of going completely bonkers for one day a fortnight. that refrain of sex death sex death is tied to the title for me..the little death.sex ...and life ..measured in giros.or.lives ,measured in bi weekly trips to the hole in the wall at midnight .....a triumph of a record... probably as good as just say no..but I'm a sucker for a pair of drummers.GNOD ON christopherogley
